Planting and Care:

Plant in a sunny to partially shaded position in well-drained, fertile soil. Ranunculus prefer soil that does not sit waterlogged, so improve heavy soils with grit or compost before planting. Water regularly during the growing season but allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Once flowering has finished and foliage dies back naturally, tubers can be lifted and stored in a cool, dry place over winter in colder regions, or left in situ where drainage is good and winters are mild. A layer of mulch can offer additional frost protection.
