Planting and Care:

\n

Plant in a position that receives full sun to partial shade in well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil. Deadhead spent flower spikes promptly to encourage a second flush of blooms later in the season. A light mulch around the base in autumn helps protect the crown over winter.
